Watch as Coach explains that in the Spring and Fall, these drills help get the defense locked in. The first is a simple bag drill with players going 1 foot in, 2 feet in, and lateral as coaches call defenses and signals so the players keep their eyes up and communicate/focus. The second drill is a movement drill that gets the players locked into the ball. A coach gives cadence, but the defense must have discipline and go on ball movement.
