Watch as Coach Eric Forestier explains and demonstrates the proper technique for executing a sacrifice bunt. Both toes should be pointed toward the pitcher with the chest over the front knee and your weight on the front foot. This allows the batter to be in a good position to turn to slash. The bat position should be at the top of the strike zone with the elbows locked and out in front of the plate. If the pitch is higher than the bat take the called ball. If it is lower than the bat, then the body must go down with the bat. The knob controls the bunt direction with the knob out for third base angle and pulled back for first.
