Watch as Coach Brian Harris explains, and players demonstrate drills incorporating infielder's footwork principles. When fielding the ball, keep it in the center of the body and step with the right foot in front. The left foot must separate in the direction of the throw making sure not to bring the glove off to the side but keeping in the center. The right foot comes first, followed by the left, making sure not to shuffle. The most important principle is to get the batter or runner out.
