What Does Good Delegation Look Like? with Dr. Dustin Smith, CMAA – Broken Arrow Public Schools (OK)

November 24, 2025 • By ADInsider

Dustin Smith explains that delegation is one of the most difficult things to do in the Athletic Director profession. An individual can't carry the entire load, and delegating tasks allows an AD to focus on the bigger picture. It is important to identify the talents of your staff and then delegate an assignment to them that gives them an opportunity for success and growth.
