Mental Health and Team Culture with Kari Eckert – Robbie’s Hope Foundation

Kari Eckert discusses mental health issues and team culture. Many times, teammates are the first to see issues before a coach or an adult will, and they are not sure what to do. Talk to the team at the beginning of the season and give them some options on how to deal with this issue and when to get an adult involved. This is also a good time to explain your expectations on language and how players communicate with one another and they must understand what is and is not acceptable.
