In the US as of March 12, 2020 at 11:40am there have been 1401 reported cases of COVID-19 and 40 confirmed deaths. In response to the rising numbers colleges are closing, the Power 5 Conferences have canceled spring sports indefinitely, and the NBA has canceled the rest of their season.
