Developing and Implementing Effective Emergency Action Plans with Amy Harris, CMAA – Clayton County Public Schools (GA)

Amy Harris discusses the vital role of athletic directors and administrators in emergency preparedness. Amy will cover different types of medical emergencies and how to prepare for all emergency situations with example situations:

  • Developing your EAP (Emergency Action Plan)
  • The importance of building your team
  • Identifying potential hazards and dangers
  • Practicing the plan

There are multiple resources provided with QR codes consisting of sample emergency action plans and a how to video, medical timeout, administrator's guide from: "Any One Can Save a Life", example signage, and staff badges in Amy's presentation.
