Michael Duffy discusses sportsmanship and how he believes that it must be reestablished in the school community. He wants the student body to understand that winning is important, but it should be accomplished with integrity and honor. Winning the right way should be the goal and also treating the opponents and officials with the class they deserve. He suggests working with student leaders and as influencers they can impact student behavior. They also ask the athletes to define sportsmanship and work as a group to define a common definition. Sportsmanship should be at the forefront of all of the coaches' minds and they will convey that message to the athletes.
