Talking to Yourself vs. Listening to Yourself with Cori Close – UCLA

Most coaches and players will have negative thoughts during a practice or a game. Don't verbalize the negative thoughts, as that makes it more powerful, and you do not have to believe it. It is important to be aware when you are listening to negative thoughts, and you need to replace them by talking to yourself.
