Shot Selection: Simplicity Is Key with Jacie Hoyt – UMKC

June 15, 2021 • By Women's Basketball Coaches Insider

Watch as Coach explains her team's shot terminology that runs from 9s to 3s. 9s are shots that usually can be made 9 out of 10 times. 7s are free throws with the goal of making 7 out of 10. 5s are 50% shots and are discouraged. 3s are bad shots. Each player is assigned a blueprint that lists the types of shots that player should take.

This clip comes from a full-length session that was featured in the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA) Virtual Clinic that was held from September 17-20, 2020.
