Watch as Coach Missy Traversi explains that her program has a 3-point shooting test that every player must pass. This is a pre-season test, with each shooter having 15 minutes to complete three 5-minute shooting drills. Assistant Coach Tony DiClemente explains, and a player demonstrates the first drill, Spot Shooting. The drill starts in the corner and will consist of 10 total 3-point shots. The order of the type of shots is: 2 catch and shoot shots, 2 back pedal 3s shots, 2 fake side steps shots, 2 transitions shots, and finish with 2 catch and shoot 3s. The same order is used for 5 spots around the perimeter. Coach also explains the 2nd and 3rd drills used in the 3-point test, wing shooting and one-in-a-row.
