Three-Part, Three-Person Passing Drill with Tony Bowles – Rockwall High School (TX)

July 24, 2024 • By Soccer Coaches Insider

Watch as Coach Tony Bowles explains and shows video of this three-part, three-person passing drill. The drill works on 1st and 2nd touch and being able to see the field and both teammates. The player in the middle is playing the ball back with a 1-touch pass with the right foot then repeating the process with the left foot. The 2nd progression of the drill has the man in the middle receiving a pass with the dominate foot and play the ball with the non-dominant foot again, switching up to receiving a pass with the non-dominant foot and playing with the dominate foot. The 3rd phase involves continuous movement of all three players working on 1 and 2 passes.
