Watch as Robert Grasso discusses La Jolla Country Day's leadership programs for athletics and how developing a culture is the key for a successful team. He explains great teams don't happen by accident and although talent is very important, it is not the only factor involved. The goal is to merge the talent, culture, and leadership together and that is when the magic happens. He stresses to the athletes that on bad teams no one leads, and on average teams the coaches lead. The elite teams are special and are led by the players who take ownership and hold each other accountable to the team's high standards.
