Small-Sided Transitional Game: Rondo with Art Lopez – Cathedral High School (CA)

January 4, 2022 • By National All Sports Virtual Coaches Summit

Watch as Coach discusses small-sided transitional games with focus on a Rondo. The drill is a 4v1 or 4v2 with a 10x10 yard grid and the size can be increased or decreased depending on the skill or age level of the athletes. The players will move up and down the lines creating passing angles and always receiving the ball with the far leg. They should execute 1 to 2 touches on the ball with rotations at 30 to 45 seconds.
