Technology’s Impact on Mental Health with Dr. Josie Nicholson – Univ. of Mississippi

July 5, 2022 • By ADInsider

Dr. Josie Nicholson of Ole Miss Athletics discusses today's technology and how it can have a negative effect on an individual athlete's mental health. She explains that the world of sport is a world of comparison, and the athletes can be focused on not who they are but who they could be. Always speaking about potential and the overemphasis on results can lead to additional pressure and stress on athletes.
