Watch as Coach John Gorman explains, and players demonstrate this head of stick approach footwork drill. The defender is in a good stance with the stick pointed to the inside, then a player or coach will grab the head for the defender's stick and run straight, then zig zag to the right or left. Start the drill at a quarter speed working up to full speed.
