Defining Mental Toughness with Jack Clark – Univ. of CA, Berkeley

May 19, 2021 • By Georgia Basketball Coaches Association

Watch as Coach discusses mental toughness and how the term is valued and used a lot but has no clear definition. He states how critical it is that definitions are consistent within an organization so that everyone is on the same page. Coach explains how he found a definition that makes sense, and it is the ability to focus on the next most important thing. Mental toughness is paramount when things are not going your way. Having the discipline to put all of your energy and focus on the next most important thing can help you dig out of a bad situation.
