Watch as Coach discusses the 656 Drill by showing diagrams and aerial footage of practice video. The drill starts with a 6v6 with ball movement and no shots. A coach will call out a defensive player's number and he will run to the opposite sideline creating a 6v5. This simulates the need to rotate and a scramble mode and the players must communicate who is the next to rotate. The recover defensive player returns to make it 6v6 again. A wrinkle of the drill is to add another offensive player creating a 7v6 situation.
