Press Coverage: 2-1-None-Handed Jam with Demetrice Martin – UCLA

Watch full video with Football +Plus here. • May 14, 2025 • By Oregon Athletic Coaches Association

Watch as Coach Demetrice Martin explains and shows video of the 2-1-None for DBs' press coverage jam and technique. If a receiver is in the DB's core, then he will always use a 2-handed jam. If it is an outside release, the DB will jam with the inside hand. On a speed release to the outside, the DB will not jam but turn into the receiver and run. The 2-1-None Drill starts out with the DBs working vs. air and then against a receiver.

Demetrice Martin was formerly a coach at Michigan State University.
