How We Win with Mack Brown

May 5, 2021 • By Nike Coach of the Year Clinics

Watch as Coach discusses what he feels are the key ingredients in having a winning program. Coaches and players must set goals and always have a positive message. If you don't believe, then it will not happen. Help your players visualize success by showing video clips of them performing well and doing their jobs. Build a wall around the program and don't allow people in. Finally, as a coach, you are under constant scrutiny by the public and they will read you like a book. You must maintain positive self-talk and body language. Always be confident but not arrogant.

Mack Brown was previously a coach at the University of North Carolina.
