Watch as Coach Kenny Martin explains and shows practice video of these defensive line foot drive drills. The Fit Drill is from a stand-up position with the D-lineman fitting up and on command or ball movement, explode and drive their feet (feet on fire). The Fit Drill progression moves on to the chutes with the D-lineman bending their knees a little lower and exploding and driving their feet. The D-lineman now get down into the stance as a handbag is added to the chute. They must use proper hand placement explode and drive the feet. The final part of the drill is to remove the handbag and work live against another player.
