Watch as Craig Davis explains that there are three types of communication that assistant coaches need to understand when speaking with the Head Coach is:
- Formal Communication. It is important to share your vision of where you want to be in the future as a Coach. It is extremely important to tell the Head Coach if you are interviewing or have been approached with another coaching opportunity.
- Informal Communication. Can be just open conversation on various subjects.
- Impromptu Communication. This can be a strategic move by the Head Coach basically checking to see if you are following up on your duties.
