Watch as Coach explains, and a hitter demonstrates these swing path drills. His team works on many one-handed swings, mainly working on the top hand or the back arm, trying to get the hitter to rotate through. It is important to use a lighter bat but not a shorter one so the players can feel the length when they swing. The Bucket Lid Drill works on palm up/palm down on contact as the hitter takes his game swing releasing the bucket. This is a great drill for swing path and working on direction.
