Watch as Coach explains and demonstrates the shortstop's pivot on a double play ball. He only teaches one pivot with the shortstop coming across the back side of the bag, avoiding the step and throw. The shortstop will shuffle, receive the ball with the hands together, and drag the foot across the back side of the bag making sure to stay out of the base line.
