Watch as Coach Dan Cimini discusses the importance of positive energy and confidence. Coach Cimini emphasizes that baseball is a game of success, not failure. He wants his players to focus on the positive but also to learn from the negatives. Confidence is key in his program, as he stresses that if you believe in it, then it can happen - and if you don’t believe it, then it won’t happen. Visualization is a staple of every practice. As an example, the players and coaches will have infield/outfield practice without a ball. The players execute all their actions and responsibilities - making throws, turning double plays, executing cutoffs, etc. - and when everything is correct, they repeat the process using a ball.
