Watch as Coach talks about the goals he and his staff set for their pitchers. The goal board represents the objectives that they want to accomplish throughout the game with the obvious goal of winning the game. The pitchers all want to average 15 pitches or less per inning over a seven-inning outing. He also explains the 67 rule, which is 67% on 1st pitch strikes, on winning even counts, and on their 3-2 battles. He also covers the 3-to-1 strike-to-walk out ratio, 1-to-1 hits-to-inning pitch ratio, 3 up-3 down inning, and picking off a runner. All of these goals help players stay on track throughout the game.
