Watch as Coach Austin Wates explains how he uses Fall practice to determine if he needs to give his hitters a two-strike approach. The most common approach is to expand the zone by extending another ball either side of the plate with the hitter looking for a fastball away and adjusting to everything else. It is important that the hitter is in the most athletic position.
