Watch as Coach Mark Gjormand explains, and players demonstrate this double play drill. This is a timed 2- to 3-minute drill focusing on executing as many double plays as possible. Two groups will compete against each other with bobbles and drops not counting as a good double play. The double play progression is: 5-4-3, 6-4-3, 1-6-3, 4-6-3, 1-2-3, 3-6-1.
