Compete Every Day with Dan Cimini – De La Salle Collegiate High School (MI)

Watch full video with Baseball +Plus here. • April 8, 2025 • By Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association

Watch as Coach Dan Cimini explains that the staple of his program is to compete every day. Batting practice is on the side, and everything his team does on the field in a practice setting is based on competitive scrimmages. The scrimmages are determined by the coach and consist of whatever he feels the team needs to work on during that practice. The scrimmages use live pitchers for about 2 or 3 innings, throwing about 50% to 60% max.
