Watch as Zac Stout discusses a catcher's keys to blocking success. He stresses the importance of having realistic expectations on blocking with a focus on being good at blocking within the catcher's box. The goal is to have a 95% success rate. The keys to blocking success are: late blocking decision, active glove, hips & torso slide laterally together, and low hips. Zac will explain and show video clips of various blocking drills.
