Baserunning: Home to 1st Base with Darren Fenster – Univ. of Miami

August 30, 2021 • By Minnesota State High School Baseball Coaches Association

Watch as Coach discusses three different options and techniques for going from home to 1st base. On ground balls in the infield, the runner runs a straight line through 1st base. On a grounder that gets through the infield, the runner will use a question mark technique and only in this situation. On any ball hit to the outfield or high in the air the runner should create the angle early.
