Doug Killgore discusses the state of sportsmanship in today's athletic environment. The decline of sportsmanship can be seen in the treatment of game officials and the backlash that is occurring as a result. Many school districts, and even states, are having a difficult time securing officials and this is having a negative impact on their programs. Doug recommends that programs need a code of conduct in which coaches and athletes must follow the guidelines set forth by the school and be held accountable for their actions.
