NIAAA Tools for Educators

NIAAA Tools for Educators [NIAAA]

October 18, 2018 • By National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association

Brought to you in partnership with the NIAAA

Every educator needs to be informed of potential negligence and liability risks while working with students. The NIAAA's Leadership Training Course (LTC 504) does just that, it prepares all educators to be prepared for the unexpected. 504 - Legal Issues I - Liability for Sports Injuries and Risk Management is not just a course designed for Athletic Administrators. This course has direct impact on every individual in the education setting who strives to maintain a safe and risk free learning environment.

504 provides in-depth courage of the legal standards governing liability for all injuries that can occur in an educational setting. Make sure your staff is prepared by equipping them with strategies for developing, implementing and documenting an effective risk management program.

Individually this four-hour course is offered through the NIAAA Classroom, as either a webinar or online course for the price of $210 for non-members, and or attending a state offering at Athletic Administrators state conferences. Also, if interested in informing your full staff, contact the NIAAA office at 317-587-1450 to inquire about the opportunity for a National Faculty Instructor to come and present to your staff.
