In an effort to bring national recognition to a deserving NIAAA member in each state, the NIAAA offers the State Award of Merit. While each state athletic administrator association determines its own selection process, as well as the time and place of presentation, the recipient must have demonstrated strong contributions to interscholastic athletics at both the local and state levels.
