Leslie Slovak explains that the most important thing an AD can do is make a correct decision on who is hired to be put in front of the kids. She talks about supporting coaches and helping them understand that they are valued. Coaches must understand the importance of being intentional about building relations with staff, kids, and the community. It is key to reach out to coaches and administrators, thanking them and checking on how they are doing. Tell your story by promoting the positive of what your coaches and kids are doing both athletically and academically.
