Dan Talbot explains that times are changing to a more technological world. They have created an eSports program as part of their athletic department. eSports has taken off and attracts a different type of student-athlete that now feels more connected to their school and feels part of the athletic program. The focus as administrators and coaches is to reach kids and connect them to something that helps with their identity. Extracurricular activities is the #1 dropout prevention program for schools across the country.
