Darryl Nance explains that when he is interviewing a candidate for an open position, he wants to understand their belief structure, philosophy, and leadership statement. Everyone falls into a certain leadership style, and a candidate needs to know and understand their leadership and communication style, as well as the impact it has on others. All of the district's ADs go through leadership and communication style surveys.
