Matt Mattson explains that he regularly has a leader's or captain's breakfast in his office. The table in his office doubles as a ping pong table. He encourages kids to stop by to play and hang out during the day. It is a chance for him to see their softer side -- laughing and just being kids. He feels that this opens the levels of communication and builds trust, which helps down the road if any issues do develop.
