Games Plus with Darryl Nance – Greenville County Schools (SC)

Darryl Nance explains how they use a 4x6 index card to explain the meaning of 'Games Plus' with a list of eight words that define their athletic program culture. The athletes can reference this card to add the list's characteristics to their own core traits and values. There are six questions on the back of the card dealing with the 'whys' and 'hows' that each athlete will contribute to the team on a personal level. The cards are given to each coach who distributes them to his team, and this creates an opportunity for positive communication with each group.
