Development & Growth of Middle School Athletics with Lonnie Jones – Middle School Athletics Coordinator for SDUSD

Lonnie Jones explains that the goal of middle school athletics is to prepare athletes for high school at a younger age. High school coaches are now allowed to instruct middle school athletes in seven sports throughout the school year. This program prepares both the athletes and their parents for the transition to high school.
