Dr. Craig Perry discusses an Athletic Director's options when someone is trying to go above you to get to you. He explains that the culture has changed with the youth-sport industrial complex and the business approach to youth sports outside of high school. This can lead to the parents bypassing the coach and going directly to the AD or over the AD to the Principal. It is important to know that this is common - a national trend - and you are not alone. It does not matter how long you have been an AD or the size of your school or district, the NIAAA and its resources can be of assistance.
