Scott Nordi explains the importance of coaches being a part of the academic process of their school. Many coaches today are not teachers within the system, work outside the school, and are not familiar with education-based athletics. Scott has set up a system to educate those coaches, stressing importance of academics and giving them the tools to help the athletes. The coaches must establish a direct line of communication with the teachers focusing on mutual support which builds trust and creates a positive working relationship for the benefit of the athletes.
