Mike Elder explains that changing athletes' behavior starts with changing adults' behavior (coaches and parents). If you perceive a problem with your athletes, then approach your coaches to determine if their behavior can be improved and can this help alleviate the problem. Parents should be encouraged to help promote a positive culture. All coaches should have a mission and vision statement. The vision is where you want you athletes to be in 10 to 15 years from now.
