Luis Solorio explains and gives examples of an interview process that you can trust. All applicants are passed on to HR to start the background checks. The pre-screen consists of the athletic department emailing the applicants a pre-screen link with 5 questions. The applicants' responses are recorded at home and the athletic department will have access to those responses. This enables the applicant list to be shortened and the top 3 or 4 candidates are brought in for face-to-face interviews. They are then asked to prepare a 10-minute presentation on organization, communication, and building relationships. In the interview they will be asked situational questions pertaining to possible scenarios. This process allows the athletic department to feel very comfortable that when the time comes to making an offer to an applicant, they feel that they have made the right choice.
