Accountability and Empathy with Dr. Greg Dale – Duke Univ.

August 9, 2022 • By Intercollegiate Mens Lacrosse Coaches Association

Watch as Dr. Dale discusses accountability and empathy. Your program should have high standards, and everyone should be held accountable to those standards. He describes empathy as the ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes. If you can't do that, you can still show compassion. Having a balance between accountability with empathy and showing empathy does not mean you are being soft; it shows that you care enough.
