I have my athletes run their speed at 90+ effort for :20 – :25 up a gradually sloping, grassy hill and walk down for recovery. They do 5 – 7 reps 2 x’s per week at the end of easy – moderate steady state run of 30:00 – 45:00. You do yours on the track 3 x 150 meters.
